United suffered yet another defeat in a season that is becoming a living nightmare for all us United supporters. Yesterday’s defeat was, in my book, even more frustrating as I think we created the chances to win the game but at this moment in time, we simply can’t score to save our lives!Add to that a dodgy keeper and the result is what it is!

James Maddison, returning from injury, scored the decisive goal in the 13th minute, pouncing on a rebound after Onana could only parry Lucas Bergvall’s low shot which did not seen irresistible. Before that we had already missed 2 chances through Hojlund and Garnacho.

United pushed for an equalizer throughout the match but were thwarted by Vicario’s saves in the Spurs goal and poor finishing. Garnacho missed a clear chance in the first half and was twice denied in the second. Zirkzee’s header and Hojlund’s late effort were also blocked as Spurs held firm under pressure which was there, but was simply not good enough.

We are now lying 15th in the table and Amorim needs to get some results together..Numquam Moribimur!
