Team Captain and Local Club Honorary Member Gary Neville sends a message to all United fans in Malta.

'Firstly congratulations to all the people who have undoubtedly worked tirelessly to get our official website up and running. I am proud to be an Honorary Member of this very special Manchester United Supporters Club. My introduction to Malta and all the great friends I have here is all down to MUSC and the way it looked after Me, David Beckham, Ben Thornley and Chris Casper, then just youth team players back in 1994. I had never been treated with such warmth, generosity and love by people outside of my family. The Maltese Manchester United fans are passionate and loyal to the club and whether you are the tea lady, work on reception or play for the first team everybody from the football club is afforded the same welcome.

MUSC Malta is the oldest supporters club in the world and close to its 50th anniversary and I know this will be a very special year. It will be a time of celebration and also a time to respect the work of hundreds of people over those 50 years. This great work still continues with MUSC stronger than ever and the launch of the official website is another step forward in the clubs progression and continued success.

I am proud to be the Manchester United Captain and whilst having endured some injury problems recently I hope to be part of the team that can bring  trophies to Malta in the near future.

Finally on behalf of the team thank you for your fantastic support. It is greatly appreciated'
