The Book about the 50 years history of our glorious Supporters' Club has been officially launched on Friday 27th November 2009. 

One of our local Club members Charles Poulton organised a private event last friday at the Radisson Golden Sands hotel during which he officially donated a seven seater van to the Malta Cancer Foundation. Charles is a hard working person who dedicates most of his time collecting funds for charity and the aim of his project this year was to collect enough funds to donate this utility van to such a noble organisation as the Malta Cancer Foundation. He organised various fund raising events, chased numerous sponsors and finally he reached his goal. Being a fervent United fan and very fond of our Supporters' Club Charles decided to donate this van on behalf of the Manchester United Supporters' Club Malta. In fact the van's number plates read MUSC1959. The keys of the van were presented to Dr. Muscat from Malta Cancer Foundation by Club Founder John Calleja as requested by Charles Poulton himself.

During the same event Charles offered the Committee the possibility to officially launch The Book about the history of MUSC Malta. Actually, in line with our contractual agreement with Sierra Distributors, the book was first seen on the shelves of the local Book Fair which opened its doors on 11th November. However that was just considered as a soft launch. In front of those present, local media and in the presence of Author Julian Tabone, Researcher Karm Galea and Art Designer Simon Poulton the book was officially presented and launched. All those who have seen it can witness the high quality of this magnificent product. The story on its own is very interesting and the pictures bring so many great memories. It's a must for all local Man Utd Supporters, especially local Club Members.

Only 1,500 copies have been published. Each book has a certifcate of authenticity which identifies the book number. From 1 to 50 will not be sold but will be auctioned in a future event which will be announced next year. Those who had pre booked the book are kindly requested to call at the Club to collect their copy. The book will be distributed overseas as well hence we urge all those interested to get hold of a copy as soon as possible to avoid any disapppointment. The price of the book is only 60 euros and sales are moving fast. It's also an ideal gift for Christmas but above all it's a tribute to the hard work of so many people who dedicated their lives to this famous Supporters' Club. Well done Julian, Karm and Simon!
